An embodiment of opulence of the Haute Horlogerie world, Rolex, has announced the release of several incredible watch novelties at Baseworld 2019.

Rolex GMT-Master II “Batman”

Following the GMT-Master II “Pepsi” model on the Jubilee bracelet, presented in 2018, Rolex applied the same approach to the GMT-Master II “Batman.” This high-end watch comes with the 40-millimeter case made of the legendary Oyster steel and a blue-black Cerachrom bezel. The presence of the brand logo at the bottom of the dial indicates that this stylish wristwatch comes with the latest-generation mechanism. The caliber 3285 is equipped with the latest Rolex developments, in particular, the Chronergy descent and blue spiral Parachrom. The power reserve of the watch mechanism is 70 hours. The estimated cost of this impressive model is CHF 8,000.

The second fashionable GMT-Master II novelty is presented in a white gold case with an Oyster bracelet and a meteorite dial. Although the meteorite material is far from new for Rolex, it is used for the first time in the GMT high-end watch. The same caliber – 3285  provides the operation of this fantastic timekeeping device. The estimated cost of the model – CHF 36,600.

Rolex Sea-Dweller Ref. 126603

As part of the Baselworld 2019 jewelry and watch salon, Rolex also introduced the first model from the Sea-Dweller line in bimetallic design. The traditional steel in this wristwatch is accompanied by precious yellow gold, of which are made several parts of the timepiece. These are the central links of the bracelet, screw-down crown, hour markers, and hands, as well as inscriptions on the Cerachrom bezel. The engraving “Sea-Dweller” on the dial is also executed in yellow gold.

From a technical point of view, this high-end watch is similar to its steel predecessor. It means that new timepiece uses an automatic caliber 3235, which provides the model with improved protection against magnetic fields and an impressive 70-hour power reserve. The estimated cost of the model is $16,050.

Rolex Day-Date 36 “Rainbow”

The most famous and most popular model with the prefix “Rainbow” was the Cosmograph Daytona equipped with a bezel with rainbow-colored sapphires. However, if you look at the history of the renowned brand, you will see that in the 1970-s Rolex presented its rainbow within the Day-Date wristwatch line.

Rolex Day-Date 36 “Rainbow”

In contrast to the luxurious Cosmograph Daytona, the Day-Date 36 “Rainbow” is more modest in design. Rainbow-colored sapphires are now placed on the dial in the form of hour indexes. The case is available in rose, yellow or white gold. The bezel, the dial, and the bracelet of this high-end watch are adorned with round diamonds. In the alternative version of the model, there are no diamonds on the bracelet and bezel.
